International flights from US are sought for different
destinations around the globe. There are different motives for which the people
want to travel to the other countries. The most fundamental of these motives is
the willingness to see the different cultures. People have the urge to meet the
people of other cultures, exchange the ideas, explore their histories and
geographies, wonder at their architectural feats, prospect for trade and

When the airline industry was not in
existence, these motives strongly influenced people to venture out to other

for tickets on flag carriers of the countries where you want to go
If you are flying to Dubai, why not check the prices at
Emirates or Etihad as well? Similarly, if going to any city in Japan, why not
consider fares of ANA? And, likewise, it always pays to check the fares from
other international carriers, not just the US airlines.
b) Consider
ancillary fees or charges which you have to pay
Most of the time, the ancillary charges are not counted for
or are ignored when it comes to online flight tickets reservations as the focus
is on published fares. These charges are related to baggage, excess baggage, meals,
paid seats and others. Some airlines do follow differential seating pricing and
have charges for check in bags. Some others might allow some free check in
baggage allowances. So, these ancillary sources of revenues for the airlines is
something which passengers shall prevent incurring.
c) Do
not ignore connecting flights
Passengers generally tend to fly in direct flights which can
take them to their destination in the shortest possible time frame. However,
there are many more connecting flights, with stopovers at different
destinations within US or at other international cities. These flying options
can prove to be a lot more feasible for providing low cost international air
tickets. If you are flexible with your flying plan and are ready to spend a day
or two, or some hours at the minimum, then these flight connections could be
really useful tools for saving money on tickets.
